I have been frantically trying to schedule an appointment to get my daughter's wisdom teeth pulled; they started rupturing through with little warning and she has been in tremendous pain. Yesterday, when I called Cascade Oral Surgery, I didn't think my daughter was going to be covered by insurance and I would have to pay cash. For a single, working parent, coming up with $3000.00 cash wasn’t going to be an easy task. I spoke with Jennifer at Cascade, she was so gracious and accommodating, offering me a multitude of dates to get my daughter cared for. Today, I called back because we have been able to obtain coverage for the surgery through Provider One. The same person, Jennifer, had an entirely different attitude. She was rude, short and offered no assistance. She told me that they don't schedule appointments for Provider One patients; it's on a cancellation basis only. She said when there was a cancellation, they would call us 24 hours before the surgery. I ask her how people are supposed to get time off of work and school with a 24 hour notice? Especially since follow-up care and time-off is needed in addition to the surgery day. In a very smug tone, she replied, "Sorry, that’s our policy." I told her exactly what I have just written and that I will be calling Oral Surgery Plus. She said, “That’s fine” is a very snotty tone.” I have appreciated seeing the true colors of this practice. I understand that Provider One isn’t the best insurance for doctors and dentists. But right now, that is my only option; I think there are a lot of hard working people in the same position. I work 3 jobs and none of them provide insurance. However, I did have insurance for 15 years and Cascade was paid $1000’s of dollars for my personal and my children’s dentistry. I guarantee you this; Cascade Oral Surgery will never see another penny from this family! On the contrary, I called Oral Surgery Plus a few minutes later and was treated with kindness and respect. Sheena, bent over backwards to help us get my daughter in as soon as possible.

worst place i have ever dealt with in my entire life, i took my ex rays and referral in to them and they threw them away. i called several times over the next few months to check on on when i could get an appointment and they said they had everything they needed from me and were just waiting on an open spot for me, when i went in to talk to them as i had called over 10 times in 6 months they said that i must have the wrong place and i needed to go somewhere else as they don't deal with people that are referred from the chas clinic.

I just love this place. They have done great work with me and helped with my dental phobia. We were taking our child to another pediatric dentist and were blown away by their overly aggressive treatment plan. I called our trustworthy dentist and asked them for their opinion. They got our 5 yr old in that very day. Took the time to explain everything to me and are going with a more conservative dental plan. Dr Walker was just so amazing. He spent 20 minutes on the phone with me going over everything in the treatment plan and explaining why they do it the way they do.

I had a terrible experience with a dentist in April of 2011, so I was terrified when I found out I need to go see an oral surgeon. I was referred to Dr.Hauck and he and his team gave me the best dental experience I have ever had. They talked me through everything, answered any questions I had, made sure I was relaxed and comfortable, and gave enough time for the Novacain to set in and it was a very enjoyable experience I would recommend him to anyone.
