I called Spokane Oral Surgery on 7/30/2025 at 10:30 AM after my son's orthodontist referred us for follow-up on chin trauma. When I tried to make an appointment, the woman on the phone refused to schedule us. She said their doctors don’t get paid as much from our insurance (state insurance) and pushed me to call the Sacred Heart oral surgeon who was on call the day of the injury instead. I left that call shaking and in tears. I’m just a parent trying to get my child the care he needs, and I’m sorry I can’t afford better insurance. We were referred here for a reason, and to be turned away like that was deeply upsetting and felt incredibly unfair. No family should be made to feel this way when seeking care for their child.

The initial visit seemed good! The only drawback were the extensive pages of questions one had to complete before scheduling. Some aren't able to access a computer to do this and when I tried to complete it at work on break, the pages kept timing out.

I had recently got my molars taken out. The whole experience Was calming and felt very comfortable assistance and nurses were very nice. Very pleasant. Gave us clear instructions on the recovery time they listened made me feel comfortable. Made me feel like I was important. Definitely recommend these guys to everyone.
