When I called to make an appointment for my grandson to have his wisdom teeth extracted, I asked for the surgery to be scheduled during Christmas break, I was told they couldn't schedule the surgery at that time. The receptionist assured me there would be appointments open the week of December 18th. We get a pre-op consultation for November 21, the office needs my grandsons father to sign authorization and financial papers, I let my son know and he stops by the office during work hours to sign the papers. They finally get everything together and get the authorization paper signed, and we try to get an appointment at the Northside office, nothing open at that office during the week we want and nothing open at the Northside office. Finally find a workable surgery date for April 1at the south hill office, that is a very long drive from Elk and I don't go to South hill, so no idea where this office is. I am fuming by this time. Then the financial person comes in to get papers signed, the father has left to go back to work, I am told if we would have let her know he was there she would have come in with the papers, not my job to communicate when the parent is there, where was the communication between staff? Then they say, the father will have to come back to sign papers as the signature will be out of date by April, I told them they would have to call him (he will be mad as he will have to take off from work again), I am not listening to the rant about how incompetent this office is. We are stuck with this office now as the insurance company won't pay for another appointment or x-rays. The Ash and Rowan dentist office that referred us to Spokane Oral Surgery has not a clue what the actual service rendered is like, giving the buddy business with no account for what the office is like to deal with. I think some of this was the assistant weilding her power and the statement they would put us on a cancelation list, probably will never happen.
